The “Corporate Brain” is coming.

Hi folks, in this week’s newsletter, I’ll be discussing how to build a “corporate brain” for your organisation using tools that dramatically extend the power and capability of your LLM.

As an aside, I appreciate that you may be hankering for a full review of the latest GPT-4 release from OpenAI this week, but as most of the interesting functionality, like multimodality (text, audio and video), are yet to be released, I will leave it until I have better access to all the features. In the meantime, OpenAI’s own release documentation is pretty good.

Of note, GPT-4 passed the US Bar Exam to become a lawyer at the 90th percentile, which probably means that a pretty good “robo-lawyer” is coming your way soon!

The year of the large language model

2023 is shaping up to be the year when many firms, especially those dealing in large amounts of text, like in law, finance, education, media and marketing, take a serious look at using large language models in their workflows and client-facing tech.

I’ve previously mentioned two major CRM vendors integrating with OpenAI’s GPT models - Salesforce (with Einstein) and Hubspot (with Chatspot.ai). Check out last week’s newsletter if you missed it.
